In my research, I try to understand why people believe in misconceptions. Below I offer a list of common misconceptions and where they come from. Because not all misconceptions have been scientifically investigated, I provide both scientific and non-scientific sources.
The misconception that people only use 10% of their brains is one of the the most scientifically investigated misconceptions out there.
